DR CLAUDINE HARTELL
Dr Claudine Hartell is an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist (OB-GYN). She completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2007 at the University of Pretoria, followed by two years of internship at New Somerset Hospital in Cape Town. She then completed her Community Service at Witbank Hospital, which consisted of Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Emergency Medicine.
In 2011, Dr Hartell was appointed as a medical officer at both Eersterust Community Health Centre and later at Mowbray Maternity Hospital. In 2012 she was a medical officer at Mamelodi Hospital in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology after she obtained her Diploma in Obstetrics with the Colleges of Medicine of South Africa and started training to be a specialist in 2013 at the University of Stellenbosch, Tygerberg Hospital.
Dr Hartell attained her Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology of South Africa and completed her Master of Medicine degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 2017. Over the years, Dr Hartell regularly keeps updated with the latest medical trends by attending congresses and surgical skills workshops. These include the South African Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist congresses, the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists congress and the Obstetrics and Gynaecology updates. By regularly updating her skills, Dr Hartell keeps up with the current management strategies and surgical procedures, including laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, colposcopy, ultrasound and postpartum family planning.
Dr Hartell is based in Rustenburg and has her private practice where she wishes to make an impact on women's health, with quality services within the field of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
